Now that teaching staff are back at school, we will be using White Rose Maths only in Year 5 - this means that there won't be any starter activities from now on.

REMEMBER: We are a week behind, so this week's set of lessons are Week 5 on the website (w/c 18th May). The worksheets for each session can be found below, and the answers are in a separate folder. PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEOS FIRST, AND ONLY USE THE ANSWERS FOR MARKING (see the tab to the left), ONCE YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE TASKS.

Friday's session can be found on the above website, and contains problem solving questions, which will enable your child to apply their mathematical learning. These are excellent for preparing children for their SATs next year.

Again, this is material that we have covered, as teaching new material may lead to misconceptions, which could prove more damaging to your child's mathematical development. However, it is important that we re-cover this work thoroughly to make our understanding as deep as it can possibly be.
