In Phase 4, no new graphemes are introduced. The main aim of this phase is to consolidate the children's knowledge and to help them learn to read and spell words which have adjacent consonants, such as trap, string and milk.
In the documents section there are two stories. One is related to the blend of sounds that we have learned today in Phonics, the other is some extra reading containing the blend.
We are continuing to encourage writing in play today. Encourage the child to choose the same or a different character to yesterday and encourage them to write a 3 word sentence about the character in their play. E.g. Teddy is sad.

Art and Design
Can you make something from your recycling that you have not made before? E.g. if you have made an animal, have a go at making a robot, a person or a vehicle.
