Welcome back Kelmarsh class. I'm loving all the photos that are coming in. I have included them on Monday's powerpoint and I will do this every Monday to celebrate the stars that we are in Kelmarsh.

Both Mrs Withey and I have settled back into school well. I am with 8 Year 1s and Mrs Withey is with the Key Workers. We are having fun but obviously miss our class very much! 

In English this week, we are going to try and 'Sentence Stack' a clip as we would in school. Hopefully, your child will be able to explain how we do it. (We generate words needed, I model a sentence and they go off and write their own sentence(s) based on the FANTASTICs, BOOMTASTICs or GRAMMARISTICs that are our writing challenge is for that chunk. We repeat this process 3 times in one lesson so by the end of the lesson they have a paragraph to do with that plot point. The next day we move onto the next plot point and repeat the process again, focusing on different writing challenges. The children don't copy my model but make it their own.
