Maths
The document is attached at the bottom of the page.

Phonics
See document at the bottom of the page.

In Phase 4, no new graphemes are introduced. The main aim of this phase is to consolidate the children's knowledge and to help them learn to read and spell words which have adjacent consonants, such as trap, string and milk.

Reading
In the documents section there are two stories. One is related to the blend of sounds that we have learned today in Phonics, the other is some extra reading containing the blend.

Writing
Today is the day that you are an official author because you are starting to write your book! Have a look at your 3 pictures drawn on Tuesday to remind you of your story and have a go at writing a sentence or two about the first and second picture on the writing lines in your book.

Adults: Encourage your child to say the sentence out loud and hear the next word they need to write. Let your child practise hearing the sounds in words and their which they would need to write next on the page. If you feel your child can write a sentence independently, encourage them to write two sentences about each part of the story.

Chilli Challenge: On the blank half of the page/s you have written on, you can add your own pictures relating to the story. This makes you an illustrator!

Understanding The World
Tell your family what your favourite hobbies and activities are. What are their hobbies, which are similar and which are different to yours? Have a family discussion!
