Every child has the opportunity to stand for election at the beginning of a new school year. Children write an election speech which is delivered to their class and this is followed by an election with one vote per child. Each class from Year 1 upwards have 2 representatives on the school council. The younger children being represented by one of the older children.

The pupils meet regulary to represent views / concerns with the aim of improving the school community.
