In Phase 4, no new graphemes are introduced. The main aim of this phase is to consolidate the children's knowledge and to help them learn to read and spell words which have adjacent consonants, such as trap, string and milk.
In the documents section there are two stories. One is related to the blend of sounds that we have learned today in Phonics, the other is some extra reading containing the blend.
We are going to finish off our story today. Read through your story so far to see what you have written then look at the last picture plan you made on Monday and have a go at writing one or two sentences to finish your story. Can you use draw a picture to go with your story ending and colour it in?
Chilli Challenge: Read through your story again and check that it makes sense.
