Frequent Questions

Attendance and Absence

As a school we recognise the importance of high levels of attendance and punctuality. Over the last four years there has been a consistent high level  of attendance at the school. This has continued in the first term of 2022-23

The school's current attendance level since the beginning of September 2022 is 96.7%

If your child is unable to attend school or is going to be late we ask that you contact the school office on 01604 831172 before 8.45 a.m. on each day of the absence.

How can I find out how my child /children is /are progressing at school?

We hold two parent information evenings one in the Autumn and one in the Spring Term. These give you opportunities to discuss your child / children's progression and any questions you may have with their class teacher. If however, you do have any immediate concerns and issues you would like to raise, please arrange an appointment to see the class teacher via the school office.

Who can help at the school?

If you have any questions for the school don't hesitate in contacting the school office. Our Special Educational Needs Coordinator is Mrs Jenny Lunn and our Family Support Worker is Anne-Marie Helmn.

Volunteering at the School

We welcome volunteers to help at the school. This can be in the form of helping children to read at reading sessions. If you are interested and would like to find out how to help, please contact the school office.  We also have parents that help out with our Friends of Kislingbury fundraising events. Please see our Friends section within this website for contact details.
