In Phase 4, no new graphemes are introduced. The main aim of this phase is to consolidate the children's knowledge and to help them learn to read and spell words which have adjacent consonants, such as trap, string and milk.

Reading
In the documents section there are two stories. One is related to the blend of sounds that we have learned today in Phonics, the other is some extra reading containing the blend.

Writing
Can you think of a story and draw a picture of beginning, middle and end of a story you would like to make! Later this week you will be an author! Please keep these pictures for later in the week.

Chilli Challenge: Can you think of a main character and give it a name? You could write this down on your picture.
