Kislingbury CE Primary School Governors
Our school has a strong and dedicated Governing Body from across our community including Parent Governors, Foundation Governors, Staff Governors, Local Authority and Coopted Governors. They provide support and challenge to the schools leadership team.
The aims of our Governing body are to:
- Provide clarity of vision and strategic direction of the school.
- Support the Head Teacher with the educational performance of pupils and helping to find ways to raise standards across the curriculum.
- Oversee the financial budget and ensure money is well spent.
The Governing body attend 6 Full Governing Body Meetings a year which are held each half term and 3 committee meetings in which they belong to. The governors can decide which of the 3 committees they would like to join subject to their area of expertise and / or preference. The committees are:
- Curriculum & Achievement
- Pupils & Personnel
- Finance & Environment
