Admission Arrangements for 2020 - consultation
As part of converting to an Academy School with Peterborough Diocese, we have now become our own admissions authority. This means that the Governors of the school can set the admission criteria and admissions policy for the annual intake of new pupils into the school, rather than it being set by the Local Authority.
With time scales involved in coordinating admissions this process wont effect the intake for this coming year, the children starting in September 2019 will still come under the old Local Authority Admission criteria. We have however produced a new policy for the following intake September 2020.
As part of this process all admission authorities are required to formally consult when they introduce new admission arrangements or if they propose to make any changes to their schools' current admission arrangements for the following school year. Northamptonshire County Council co-ordinates the annual admissions consultation on behalf of all schools in the county. The consultation period is from 12 November to 21 December 2018. As part of this, we are consulting on our admission arrangements for September 2020 and you can find a copy of our proposed admission policy below.

Please note although we will set our admissions arrangements and criteria in the future the Local Authority still coordinate all applications including academies so applications will still have to be made in the normal way through their admissions website.
